L.I.F.T.  Method:   Training Opportunities  -  NCBTMB Continuing Education

All classes are on hold due to the COVID Pandemic.  Stay tuned...

I offer a variety of learning options with all offering extensive myofascial / neuromuscular function testing and ligament stimulation treatment protocols to support your budget and learning goals.

 Private Tutoring:

One on one or two on one private tutoring is available by appointment.  If you have a friend or other therapist to practice with, they are welcome to attend for the one on one tuition pricing.  Contact me for more information.

Addressing Shoulder Pain...  Wait!!  is it REALLY the Shoulder?  -  2 Day  / 12 CE's

Students will learn how fascial alignment and restriction affects shoulder pain.  But... what if the shoulder pain your client is experiencing is caused by fascial restriction elsewhere in their body?  How do you know?  In this class you will learn how to discern the location cause of pain while testing fascial length in the shoulders.  You guessed it!  This is an all encompassing class about so much more than just the shoulders.  Treatment with ligament stimulation is gentle and immediate.

Class objectives:

  • Students will understand how the fascial tensegrity affects our posture and function.

  • Students will learn why it is important to use testing to find the root of the problem.

  • Students will learn testing techniques to find out if there is a cervical influence affecting innervation throughout the structure and gently treat the O/A with ligament stimulation.

  • Students will discover why making sure the inner unit is mobile and functional will affect the hip flexors / extensors and shoulder ROM and function.

  • Students will learn how via testing to assess and treat the one or two muscles that are locking down the entire shoulder girdle.

The Essentials for Treating Pathologies with Ligament Stimulation - A Mini Masters Series

This series of five one day introductory level classes specialize in understanding the cause of pain and dysfunction common to each area of the body.  Take home "eye training" to help you see fascial dysfunction.  Test to determine the cause of dysfunction and treat quickly, easily and painlessly with ligament stimulation.  Learn why just "releasing" the fascia and muscles is never enough.  These classes may be taken individually or as a series. Each class is 6 NCBTMB CE hours and includes assessment through myofascial and neuromuscular function testing and gentle ligament stimulation treatment protocols.

Class objectives:

  • Students will learn how the fascial tensegrity affects our structural balance and function.

  • Students will explore how the inner unit / deep front fascial line affects the more superficial fascial lines.

  • Students will explore how rotator cuff problems are a core problem.

  • Students will learn extensive testing and ligament stimulation treatment protocols for each quadrant of the body.

  • Students will leave with strategies to test and treat key components for optimal results.

  • Students will understand the different pathologies within each quadrant and how it is necessary to "think outside of the box".

  • Students will discover how Ligament Influenced Fascial Technique can be used as a stand alone manual treatment modality or can be used as an adjunct to other techniques.

$450 for purchase of series - 30 NCBTMB CE's - $15 per CE

$120 per class - $20 per CE

Savings of $150 for purchase of series

1.  Spinal and Core Pathologies:  How Distal Structures are Affected

The spine is the core of our bodies.  A healthy spine that moves easily is the culmination of all of the fascial lines functioning well.  Learn about pathologies specific to the spine and how to approach them with LIFT.

2.  Understanding and Correcting Pelvis / Low Back Pathologies:

Discover how fascial imbalances contribute to low back and pelvic pain.  Practitioners learn about common causes of low back pain, how to test to learn where the cause of the problem is and treat the root of the problem.  LIFT takes the guesswork out of your treatments.  Restore fascial and muscular balance in the pelvis and goodbye back pain!

3.  Leg & Foot Pathologies:  The Feet as a Gateway to the Fascial Lines

Learn how the feet are truly the gateway to many of the fascial lines.  Learn to assess and test the feet and legs.  Watch the fascia unwind through the entire body.  By having the ability to easily retest, the practitioner can problem solve and treat quickly.

4.  Understanding Shoulder & Cervical Biomechanics and Correcting Dysfunction:

The shoulder and neck muscles and fascia truly reflect how we are.  Practitioners will learn arm line testing that will unravel where the problem lies within the upper body.  Is the problem felt in the neck from the neck or is it from the shoulders or forearms?  Is the pain felt in the forearms from the neck or shoulder?  You get the idea! We take the guesswork out of your treatment strategy by pinpointing where the problem is through comprehensive myofascial testing.  Treat easily, effectively and gently.

5.  Arm & Hand Pathologies:  The Hands as a Gateway to the Fascial Arm Lines

Like the feet are the gateway to the axial fascial system, the hands are the gateway to the arm lines.  Assess, test and treat simply, quickly and painlessly.  Treat the hands and watch the arm lines open up.
